Columbus Ballet
The Columbus Ballet invites guest dancers, soloists and instructors on a regular basis to perform and teach, and will offer special scholarships to children who otherwise could not participate in ballet training. Special programs and lectures are offered to local area schools and organizations so that exposure to ballet is accessible outside the theater. Ballet is an extraordinary discipline— when performed well, it provides its audience with a unique and wonderful experience.

Columbus Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens  In early November the Callaway Gardens area becomes excited at hosting the Steeplechase, which features five great races of thoroughbreds over an established trail in the woods. Families and friends gather to enjoy the racing horses with riders dressed in bright silks. And those in attendance are enjoying a variety of picnic fare from casual tailgating, to elegant tables adorned with fresh flowers, and even some with silver candlesticks. Created and operated by Columbus State University, the Coca-Cola Space Science Center opened in 1996. Located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, Columbus GA, USA, the Center provides a unique on-site learning experience for all ages.

FDR's Little White House
Located near Callaway Gardens and the town of Warm Springs, this park is deeply rooted in the historical era of four-time President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Historic Naval Ships
One of the prime exhibits of Port Columbus is the hull of the ironclad ram Jackson which was designed as an armored, steam-powered ram for river and coast defense.

National Infantry Museum
The National Infantry Museum, established at the Home of the U.S. Infantry in 1959.  Over 100,000 visitors each year trace with pride the footsteps of infantrymen from the 1607 wilderness of Virginia to the 1991 sands of the Persian Gulf, from the French Charleville flintlock musket to the atomic Davy Crockett, from victory at Yorktown to events in Vietnam.

Popes Farm  Hay ride with a theme.  Some say things lurk in the surrounding forest that goes beyond understanding.  As the story goes... hundreds of years ago a strange family once ran the farm.  What they harvested can only be described as hellish!

Lake Pines
Campground, Chapel, and Barn Established in 1967, Lake Pines began as a 20-site, family-operated campground in rural East Columbus. Check it out and see how it's grown.  You can get married in the wedding chapel.  The old barn can be rented for meetings, parties and large get togethers all this is located on the rustic campgrounds site. 

Pine Mountain Trail
The Pine Mountain Trail,  located in FDR State Park, is open to hikers any time the park is open.  You do not have to be a Pine Mountain Trail Association member to hike on the trail, nor do you have to pay to hike on the trail.

Providence Canyon
Visitors are amazed at the breathtaking colors of Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon." The rare Plum leaf Azalea and other wildflowers, as well as the pink, orange, red and purple hues of the soft canyon soil, make a beautiful natural painting at this unique park.
